These terms are an agreement between you and SalusLink ("we," "us") covering your use of the SalusLink app, phone check-in calls, and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
SalusLink is a wellness and care-coordination service: daily check-ins, health tracking, and updates that keep an older adult's chosen family and caregivers informed.
SalusLink is not a medical device, not a healthcare provider, and not an emergency service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and its updates and alerts are not medical advice. Always talk to a qualified clinician about health decisions.
Never rely on SalusLink in an emergency. Check-in calls and alerts can be delayed, missed, or fail entirely. If you believe someone is having an emergency, call 911.
Phone check-ins are optional. If you (or the older adult on the account) enable them, you consent to what is said on those calls being written down, and to the answers being stored and shared with the account's linked caregivers, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not keep a recording of the call. You can turn phone check-ins off at any time in Settings.
Linking a caregiver shares the older adult's health information — check-ins, symptoms, medications, measurements, visits, and updates — with that person, until they are unlinked. Only link people you trust with that information.
Don't misuse the service: no accessing someone else's data without authorization, no probing or breaking our security, no scraping, no using SalusLink for anything unlawful, and no reselling it.
SalusLink is in early testing. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be interrupted. We appreciate the patience — and the feedback.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SalusLink and its founders will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for harm resulting from reliance on the service for medical or emergency needs, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.
You can stop using SalusLink and delete your account at any time; deletion permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
If we make meaningful changes to these terms, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
